Goldsmith Webb is now working with The Hearing Care Partnership (THCP) to offer a full range of hearing care services at our practices in Canvey Island, Chelmsford, Dovercourt, Frinton-on-Sea, Leigh-on-Sea, Rochford and Southend-on-Sea.
Our expert audiologist is now available for free hearing tests, tinnitus consultations, hearing protection and ear wax removal. We also offer the very latest hearing aid technology, perfectly tailored to your needs.
Free Hearing Tests
All hearing assessments with THCP are carried out by our fully qualified audiologist completely free of charge. The appointment will include a discussion of your hearing and lifestyle requirements, speech in noise testing and pure tone audiometry testing to help generate a full report of your hearing health.
Hearing Aids
Should your audiologist recommend that you consider hearing aids, we are able to provide the very latest technology from the world’s leading manufacturers, including rechargeable and even invisible styles. Today’s devices are designed to help you hear as naturally as possible and can significantly reduce listening effort, even in environments with high levels of background noise.
Tinnitus Consultations
Tinnitus, a term that means you can hear a sound with no external source, affects 10% of the UK population. It usually manifests as a ringing, whistling or buzzing noise, and is often linked to other hearing conditions. Despite the fact that there is no “cure” for tinnitus, there are a range of therapies and options to help relieve the symptoms of the often frustrating condition.
Ear Wax Removal
We carry out ear wax removal using a variety of the latest, safest methods, including microsuction. Your audiologist will advise on the approach that is best suited to the level of wax build-up and your individual needs. Your appointment will also include a quick hearing health check at no additional cost.
Hearing Protection
THCP can provide a range of custom-moulded ear plugs as well as specialist hearing protection, including ear plugs for musicians, motorsport, shooting, swimming and more.
